Discovery Report

Discovery Report is not a survey. It is a report prepared based on site visit and research of records. To prepare a Discovery Report, Surveyor will do the following:

1. Obtain an image of your subdivision from the Recorder’s Office
2. Obtain an aerial image of your lot.
3. Rectify, scale, and combine the two images.
4. Ensure that all record lot dimensions are upon that image.
5. Visit your lot, search for the monuments and make visible any that we find.
